This store definitely needs to train its employees better both about Starbucks policy and how a retail establishment should treat its customers. I was at the store today and purchased a large cup of coffee. I settled into a comfortable chair and began reading my Kindle. After about 45 minutes I asked at the counter for a refill since my initial cup's remaining contents had become lukewarm. I like my coffee hot. Anyway, the Starbucks representative behind the counter asked me if I had been in the store for less than an hour. I have been in several Starbucks stores throughout the world and never been asked that question. Eligibility for a refill requires a same visit limitation but not a 1 hour time limit. After I answered that my time in the cafe was less than an hour, I could tell the server did not believe me but she began to process my request. She indicated there would be a charge of 54 cents. I was incredulous and told her I had never been charged for a refill before not
