General Info
When I was 16 years old, I was playing very competitive soccer in the state of Georgia. I was playing about 2 to 3 hours a day between my premier team and my high school team. I distinctly remember my right hip and low back having mild pain. It wasn't very bad and I was young so I figured that I would easily recover. As the days went on, I noticed the pain was getting worse and worse. I ended up not being able to bend over to tie my shoes and running was excruciating. A neighbor asked me to give her chiropractor a try. I had no idea what a chiropractor was. After a little research and no improvements, I decided to give it a shot. I can say with all confidence that it was a Life Changing experience. Within 4 visits I had no pain. Within 8 visits I was playing soccer without any pain. Within 6 months, I was released from care with exercises to help my back and a memory that would last forever. I attended Pepperdine University and studied Sports Medicine. By the second year of school, I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor and blend the knowledge of treating sports injuries using the chiropractic model, allowing the body to heal itself and then improving function of the injured area. So after graduating, I went to Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX and completed my chiropractic studies in 1998. With a wife, a son, and a dream of owning my own clinic, I opened Chosen Chiropractic Center in 1998 by sub-leasing space in another clinic. In 1999, I became the chiropractor for the Seattle Sounders Professional Soccer Team and continue to treat the athletes during and in the off season (7 years and counting). Just last December, we moved to our new 2700 square foot clinic in Bellevue and furnished it with state-of-the-art equipment to assist in the treatment and management of chiropractic cases. I have been so blessed to be in a profession I love, to positively change people's lives, and to help out any who seek relief. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been apart and will be apart of our continual growth. Yours in Health, Christian Cho, DC, CCSP
