We are an authorized FURminator shed-less treatment facility! Give it a try to reduce shedding up to 90% for up to 6 weeks. We also sell Annamaet: Natural and Holistic Premium Dog Food, Tropiclean shampoos, conditioners, dental products, an assortment of collars, leashes, and pet clothing. You can also find pet related art, such as prints, sculptures, and paintings. We are growing everyday since relocating to Main Street in October 2012, more products will be offered as we grow!

The Paw Wash was established in 2007 and is family owned and operated. We pride ourselves on offering individualized service to each customer. Our staff loves dogs and truely enjoys working with them. Our goal is to make the customer happy and give the dogs a good experience at the groomers. I don't understand why the reviews below have such negativity. I have utilized the services of The Paw Wash several times and have never had any experience as this. In fact anytime there could "potentially" be an issue they inform me before hand.Example: My dog has terrible fits when getting her nails trimmed. She will snap a person's fingers off if anyone, other than myself, touches her toes. They would be happy to dutifully attempt the request but if the fits could potentially cause any harm to my dog or the staff they would have to stop. I am informed of this before handling my pup over to their care. Even if this means that they could only complete a toe-nail or two. Luckily, this wasn't the case. They were able to complete the task and told me my dog was a complete angel!I have always received EXCELLENT service and I believe anyone in Bedford VA, or surrounding area, would be pleasantly surprised with their level of expertise. Always polite, courteous, and giving a smile the staff here have a excellent knowledge of customer service. Above their customer service is their AMAZING level of grooming skills! My dog always looks beautiful, smells fragrant (rather than wet dog smell like other groom shops), and is happy with her new trim. I will never, and I mean never as long as this place remains open, take my dog to a run of the mill dog groomer. Paw Wash you have my business and I hope that anyone else that reads these reviews has the pleasure to get to know your establishment!
I had taken my cocker spaniel to the Paw Wash for over 2 years and was quite pleased with their grooming services. However, his last visit to them about 4 months ago was a disaster. The trim wasn't as meticulous as he had gotten in the past, and within a week of the grooming, he developed a staph infection. I took him to the Bedford Animal Hospital where he had to be treated with two rounds of antibiotics, had to be sprayed twice a day with GenOne Spray, had to use VetOne KetoHex Wipes and be bathed by me once a week in deep cleansing medicated shampoo. It cost over $200+ dollars to get my beloved pooch back to a healthy state. After years of being a loyal customer, I called in distress the Paw Wash staff about this staph saga. I was told the manager would call me back, but it never happened. I'm disappointed in how my dog's years of service ended with this grooming company.
