- Deep CleaningFor patients that presents with a periodontal infection in their mouth, one level of treatment is what is referred to as "deep cleaning." (also referred to as scaling and root-planning). The methodology of this procedure is based on straight-forward microbiology and immunology principles. In dental school, both the dental hygienist and the dental student are trained to scale the patients quadrants of the patient's mouth with a local anesthetic. As the student progresses through school and gets additional training, they may address this type of infection by performing two quadrants of scaling and root-planning with local anesthetic.
- DenturesImplant supported dentures or bridges secure to two or more dental implants and can be made depending on your dental needs. If you are replacing a complete set of teeth, you may be able to choose from either a removable or fixed appliance (fixed or removable bridge). The more teeth that need to be replaced, the more implants you may need.
- Dental ImplantsThere is a saying, "A Jack of all trades, a Master of none." While dental implants require an expert knowlege of the structures of the mouth, many oral physicians and dentists providing dental implant procedures may not have adequate training to properly complete a dental implant procedure.
- Oral SurgeryWhile the term oral implants is often used synonymously with dental implants, oral implants can be quite different. Oral implants can be of soft tissue, bone tissue, or some type of titanium framework supporting, augmenting, or correcting abnormalities of the oral cavity, not necessarily involved with replacing missing teeth. This type of oral surgery requires careful planning between the surgeon, the restoring dentist and the patient in order to achieve the most successful outcome. While in the past this procedure may have required multiple doctors in multiple offices, causing treatment to be delayed or prolonged, or even incomplete, Dr. Paris – because of his extensive training – is capable of rendering treatment for all phases in his office.
- Gum SurgeryThank you for the wonderful care you have given me during my gum surgery. Your office is one of the warmest and friendliest that I've ever stepped foot in. Thank you for your continued concern and for going out of your way in helping with figuring out the insurance.

- General DentistryMany dentists belong to different dental organizations that focus on different aspects of a dental practice, from business groups, such as the Pride Institute, to clinical groups, such as the Academy of General Dentistry. As a licensed practicing dentist, to belong to these groups requires an application, a yearly fee and most times to be in good standing with the local dental society. Unless the individual seeks to pursue a higher level of training and education, membership in these groups does not constitute expanded knowledge.
