With a compromised immune system that was not only uncomfortable, it was making me sick. The shellac was the last draw. Beware ... it left me with a nasty under nail infection that took months to get rid of. Either the product was the problem or something dirty in the salon itself.

i have been going to the studio salon since it opened - over 20 years ago. i love the staff - they are professional, skilled, friendly, and attentive. the products are high quality. i drive down once a month from bethesda - i haven't found anyplace or anyone to do my hair (both color and cut) anywhere else.

The Studio is always a comfortable and welcoming place to go and spend time at. Never pretentious and the hairdressers don't let you leave until you are satisfied.

For my sister's wedding I went to the Studio Salon for a CND Shellac Hybrid Nail Color manicure. It was AMAZING! I chose "Red Baroness", a dark red, and it looked phenomenal for 6 days, like I had just had it done 5 minutes before. It continued to look great for 5 more days, and I only removed it at that point because with the dark color it was obvious where the nail was growing out. I could have kept it for several more days, I'm sure, without any major chipping or dullness. I will never get manicure with regular nail polish again!

As a guy, I am always leery of what kind of haircut I'm going to get at a salon, but after one to many botched cuts by clueless, I decided to give SS a try. After 45 minutes in Kate's chair, I am a customer for life. The entire staff is friendly and really engaged, and I was especially impressed with how Kate listened carefully to what I wanted, contributed her own ideas, and gave me the best haircut I have had in years. A 100% pleasant experience, followed by a haircut that had me getting compliments for the next week. Highly recommended.

I recently had my nails done at this salon with the shellac 14 day nail polish and I love it. This salon is the only one I could find offering this service for a reasonable price. Highly recommended the studio salon

The Studio Salon is a great salon. The staff is very friendly and goes the extra mile to make sure each client has a good experience and leaves relaxed and happy with the results. I recently had nail shellac done there and I love it! It's the first manicure that has lasted and been worth the money. Contrary to one of the previous reviews, I found the place to be super clean. I highly recommend this salon! It is one of those rare finds, tucked in a quiet corner of Annapolis. You should try it!

Went to Studio Salon for the first time on August 1, 2009 and they could not have been nicer. I got a fantastic new haircut done by Casey, who listened to what I wanted and put her own spin on it. I've already made my next appointment for a cut and color! I highly recommend Studio Salon.

On the day of my appointment arrived 15 minutes early, only to wait 45 minutes after my original appointment time. I was not even satisfied with the haircut after such a long wait, but just wanted to get out of there!
