• Oral Cancer Screening
  Dr. Geyman or Dr. Cranfill will check for the onset of tooth decay, inspect existing dental work like fillings, crowns, dentures, or sealants, and look for signs of tooth grinding (bruxism). Your face, neck, and mouth will be examined for signs of oral cancer. A specialized in depth oral cancer screening option, called Velscope, is also available.

  Dental sealants are thin protective coverings that are placed over back teeth (molars), with deep grooves, to keep food and bacteria out of hard to reach places in children or young teens and prevent decay.

  Porcelain veneers on front teeth are a transformative cosmetic dentistry enhancement option for patients who want to correct the shape and/or shade of irregular teeth, improve the appearance of short or tall teeth, correct small gaps that appear between teeth, and align teeth that are slightly out of place. After slightly preparing teeth for the fit of veneers, they are then custom made of thin tooth-shaped porcelain, and once completed, bonded into place.

  After cavities are removed, we use tooth-colored fillings made of safe composite materials to repair teeth. Unlike silver and mercury fillings, composites bond cohesively to the tooth and strengthen the entire structure. They are made of tooth-colored materials so that they blend in with the rest of your smile. No more noticeable gray or dark spots when you flash that beautiful smile! Sometimes, with very large cavities, or teeth that are cracked, there may not be enough natural tooth structure to support a filling alone. This is when we may recommend a crown.

  Fixed dental bridges replace missing teeth with a permanent restoration. The tooth replacement portion of the bridge is supported by neighboring teeth that are healthy enough to to be modified as anchors, and the bridge is fitted for comfort and function.
• Dental Bonding
  If a minor dental imperfection is causing you to feel self-conscious about your smile, dental bonding is a quick and easy solution. Using a composite tooth-colored material, our team can gently fill in small gaps between teeth, slightly change the shape of teeth, and in some cases help change the discoloration of teeth. This is done by bonding tooth colored, composite material then blends into, or in some cases covers up, healthy enamel that may just need a little cosmetic “boost”.
