I had a very positive experience with my cataract surgery for my left eye at Same Day Surgery Center with Dr. Mahootchi. I had cataract surgery 14 years ago for my right eye and this was a much more pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr. Mahootchi to anyone.

From initial examination, through the Yag Lazer procedure at the Same Day Surgery Center located behind the examination center, to followup, everyone was professional, courteous, and made sure I knew what was happening and what to expect. I was very impressed from the time I entered the building until I left. The people at Same Day Surgery Center were excellent and made me feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere was excellent. Dr. Mahootchi was excellent as usual. I was just so impressed with everything. When I went in, I couldn't see with my left eye and then after cataract surgery, the next my vision was almost normal without glasses.

The procedure was explained, my questions answered, and written instructions given to me prior to the day of surgery, so I knew what to expect. When I arrived at the Same Day Surgery Center in Zephyrhills where Dr. Mahootchi performed the procedure, the medical staff put me at ease. The facility located directly behind Dr. Mahootchi?s office was clean and comfortable. This is not far from where I live in Wesley Chapel, Fl.Because of the positive experience I had at the Same Day Surgery Center, I opted to return there a few weeks later for cataract surgery on my left eye rather than go to a nearby hospital for the procedure. Though told how to care for my eye immediately after the surgery, I greatly appreciated the written instructions given me. Under stress it is easy for instructions to go in one ear and out the other.

Dr. Mahootchi has his own surgery center in Zephyrhills, staffed with courteous, caring, medical professionals. I had cataract surgery in June 2007. From the time I entered the center, until the time I left, I could not have been more pleased. The wait time was very short and everyone was very organized. I was extremely pleased with my service. I had both of my cataracts removed at the Same Day Surgery Center by Dr. Mahootchi with Crystalens. It was very convenient since I live right here in Zephyrhills. The experience their was a delight and I would recommend anyone to experience such a great place with wonderful staff.

I had cataract surgery several months ago. The results were fantastic. Dr. Mahootchi is a wonderful doctor and up on all of the latest info and techniques. Recently I needed laser surgery to correct glare in one eye. In less than one hour, I was greeted by a smiling receptionist, sat in a love, comfortable and well lit waiting room and received my treatment. Made quite an impression on me. The personnel were all friendly, the place was lovely, and the doctor was waiting for me! Now that is something. Made me want to get the other eye done - but alas it does not need anything. All in all if you need cataract surgery or laser surgery or whatever (the list goes on) the Same Day Surgery Center in Zephyrhills is really great.

My wife had cataract surgery (lens implant) and two years later additional treatement using a Laser by Dr. Ahad Mahootchi (Eye Clinic of Florida) in Zephyrhills, Fl. The Laser treatment was done in the "Same Day Surgery Center" which is located directly behind Dr. Mahootchi's clinic. Other treatments like the lens implant can now be done at the "Same Day Surgery Center" . This building is newly built (2007) and appears to be a state of the art facility. For us this was a pleasant experience and staffed by friendly professionals.Dr. Ahad Mahootchi 's (the eye doctor) location in Zephyrhills, is about 12 miles from our home in Wesley Chapel, Florida which makes access to his facilities easy for us.For us, the fact that Dr. Ahad Mahootchi received his medical education in the United States was a plus.
