They need to get new credit card machines. It takes forever to check out because you have to sign in just the right spot for your signature to show up so your purchase can be completed. Also, when they open another lane for checkout, the clerk should go to the person who is NEXT IN LINE, who obviously has been waiting the longest, and invite them to be checked out next at the lane that is being opened instead of just opening up and letting the last person who is in the other line just rudely jump right over there after having just walked up to the check out line.
