The Gilbert Medical Center, founded in 1977, is an independent medicine group. The center offers physical therapy for a variety of treatment, such as ambulation, muscle strength and pain management. It also offers treatment for ailments related to posture and positioning, endurance, back and neck, fractures and orthopedic. The Gilbert Medical Center provides occupational therapy for various ailments related to sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and work and hand injuries. The center provides treatment for insomnia, major depressive disorder, adolescent migraine, osteoarthritis, adolescent and adult schizophrenia and urinary incontinence. It also has a research center that conducts trials in various areas, including pediatric, adolescent, antipsychotics, weight gain, anxiety, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, hypertension and dislipidemia. The Gilbert Medical Center is located in Bethany, Okla.
