St. Joseph Mercy Hospice is a nonprofit charitable organization that provides grief and bereavement support services for individuals with life-limiting illnesses. It provides assistance with shopping and personal care activities and serves patients and caregivers. The organization also offers pain and symptom management, treatment, nutrition evaluation and monitoring solutions. It serves the psychosocial and spiritual needs of patients and assists with cleaning and meal preparation. St. Joseph Mercy Hospice is a part of Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, which operates various hospitals, outpatient health centers and urgent care facilities. It also manages more than 25 specialty centers. The system practices in the areas of orthopedics, oncology, neuroscience, gastroenterology and urology. It is a member of Trinity Health, which is one of the largest medical systems in the United States.
