I have been going to Yen's Nails since 2001, and have never had a bad experience. Anytime I go there I am treated great and don't have to wait long. Yen is great, I live in VA Beach, but I go all the way to Hampton to get my nails done. Yen has loyal, long term customers that continue to come back, because she does great work. No matter your occasion, Yen will hook you up.

Don't do it!

I had called & was told they offered Uv Gel.I arrived & was shuffled from seat to seat as the nail person was working several people at once. She asked me what I wanted & I expressly said I wanted UV gel nails & NOT acrylic nails. She started to apply tips. I explained that tips were not a part of UV Gel nails. She told me that is the way they do them. She pulled out a dremel, filed my nail beds extremely thin. I asked her to stop and stated this is not how Uv Gels are done, & she said this is the way they are done. Out comes the acrylic powder, & the stinking chemicals UV gel nails are a polymer, & don't stink. I was once again assured this was the process. After a full set of acrylics were applied, she put a clear coat on my nails labeled gel. When I asked about the UV light & was told they don't do that, only this gel.(clearcoat). Yen's nails slit all sides of my fingers 1/8in deep with the file, glue was stuck all over, nail had pull away from the beds, nails peeling, major damage.
