Established in 2004, Andalusia School was formed by the volunteer efforts of some prominent leaders of the Muslim community in the Bronx and Westchester area of New York City. The school is affiliated with Muslim American Society Council of Islamic Schools (MAS-CIS). Andalusia School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Its curriculum includes Islamic studies, language arts, Arabic, math, science, art and social studies. The school maintains a gymnasium, cafeteria and library. It offers extracurricular activities, such as student of the month, Quran contest and school police squad. Andalusia School is located in Yonkers, N.Y.
