Mill Pond School is located in Yelm, Wash., and offers classes from grades five and six. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, language, social studies, mathematics, science, fine and performing arts, computer technology and physical education. Its school library houses a large collection of books, magazines, and journals, CDs, DVDs, and reference materials. The school offers various extracurricular activities, such as spelling bee, mathematics bowl, culture, debate and language clubs. It has a guitar, jazz band, choir and dance clubs. Its sports activities include softball, football, baseball, track and field, and indoor and board games. The school has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities.
