The Juniata River Center is a part of NHS Human Services, which is a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit corporation that offers health care services to children and adults. The Juniata River Center provides community-based behavioral medical care services related to mental health, juvenile justice, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and foster and elder care. The center operates through various professionals who deliver specialized treatment and programs, as well as administrative, training and technical support services. In addition, the Juniata River Center operates through a team of clinicians that includes a psychologist, behavioral specialist and case manager. It also designs customized services for the family of a child with autism. The center maintains an office in Yeagertown, Pa.
