Although I have been happy with the care given to me by Dr. Hawley, and she seems to be a competent doctor, you have to be willing to put up with her extremely rude staff if you want to be her patient. Today is the third time in the past two years I have called in to her office with a simple question or request and been treated rudely by the person who answered the phone. Luckily I am a pretty healthy person and don't need to deal with them very often. It is only because I am satisfied with the time she spends with me during my annual visits, and the fact that she seems very knowledgable in a wide variety of areas that I have stayed with her. I suggest the office either hire staff interested in working with the public, or provide some customer service type of training for the existing staff.
