General Info
North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC) is located forty minutes from downtown Dallas nestled in 50 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Lavon in north eastern Collin County. Established in 1985, NTEC provides full service boarding from a resident staff for up to 100 horses. Customized training is available for both the horse and rider in the dressage and show jumping disciplines from the beginner level through grand prix. In addition, owner and head trainer Kai Handt is the region's leading importer of German warmbloods and specializes in personally selecting European bred horses suited to the needs of the rider. Whatever your equestrian interests are, you will feel at home at NTEC. We have riders who want a challenging training environment and have achieved success while competing at the regional and national levels. Riders who want to enjoy their horse in a less competitive atmosphere will feel comfortable as well as they take advantage of the winding trails, open space, and other amenities that the facility has to offer. We would encourage you to spend some time exploring our web site. You will be impressed by the quality of our on-staff trainers, our facilities, our programs, and especially our accomplishments in the competitive arena (please see the AWARDS section of the web site.) We would also encourage you to come and visit our center. We would be pleased to give you a tour. Click the CONTACT US box in the upper right portion of this page for contact information and a map to NTEC.

This really is a great facility! My daughter has been riding here for over 7 years and had loved it! The trainers are wonderfull with children and very caring. I have purchased 3 horses for my daughter of the years that we have been there and each horse has been wonderful! It is a very kid-friendly environment, but there is also a great adult population out there to make my time worth the while. just stop by and check it out even if you have 20-30 minutes. Thats all you need! and you can even try your first lesson for free! if you dont like it, no need to scheudle another. Just go to their website- uswarmblood.com I hope you thourally enjoy it as i have. -Jamie
