- Fillings
- Resin CompositeA surface etchant is applied to a roughened tooth surface and then a liquid bonding agent is brushed over. A filled resin composite putty-like material is placed over and formed to the shape of the tooth. The material is hardened with a light that activates the material and sets it.
- VeneersDental Porcelain Veneers can straighten, lengthen, close gaps, repair chips, and whiten teeth to provide the desired effect. Each veneered tooth must be individually shaped. This means that a thin outer layer of the natural tooth structure is removed to allow space for dental veneer placement. Generally, the amount of tooth structure that is reduced is very minimal – about.8 mm to 1 mm. Dr. Samborski in Worcester bonds veneers to the tooth, making it very strong.
- CrownsWhen there is a lot of decay or damage to a tooth, the bone may need additional support which is called a crown or tooth cap. When over 60% of a tooth is defaced, broken, or decayed the tooth loses its built-in basic support. The great thing about Worcester dental crowns is their ability to quite literally hold a tooth together and giving back the support it loses from being damaged. A crown or tooth cap can be made from porcelain, metal, and even a blend of the two. There are also two materials that are the same color as teeth used for crowns called Zirconia or E-Max. They are strong like metal but have the look of porcelain, and they are metal free.
- Bridges
- Dental BondingThe surface is then shaped and polished to match the tooth. Dental Bonding can be used to fill in holes at the gum line, repair chipped or stained teeth, reshape teeth, and close spaces between front teeth. The material is best used for small areas that are not under a lot of stress and have limited biting or chewing forces.

- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canal therapy refers to the process of cleaning out the inner aspects of a tooth: the nerve, pulp tissue and blood supply.
- DenturesDentures like those from Dr. Samborski of Worcester help millions of people live more normal lives but just like natural teeth, both partial and complete dentures require regular care. Over time dentures will wear down, stain, and lose their shape. Over time dentures become less comfortable as the size and shape of your mouth changes.

- Oral SurgeryIn most cases, anyone healthy enough to undergo a routine dental extraction or oral surgery can be considered for an implant procedure. Patients should have healthy gums and enough bone to hold the implant. They also must be committed to good oral hygiene and regular dental visits. Heavy smokers, people suffering from uncontrolled chronic disorders – such as diabetes or heart disease – or patients who have had radiation therapy to the head/neck area need to be evaluated on an individual basis. Other procedures including bone grafting may be necessary if adequate bone is not available.
- Tooth ExtractionsMost people who have received dental implants say that there is very little discomfort involved in the procedure. Local anesthesia (Novacaine) can be used during the procedure, and most patients report that implants involve less discomfort than a tooth extraction. After the dental implant, mild soreness can be treated with over-the-counter pain medications, such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
- Bone GraftingDr. Samborski performs bone grafting in Worcester, MA using your own tissue, moving bone from areas where you have sufficient bone to areas where you need more in order to support the dental implant. This is usually the procedure of choice for the bottom jaw.
- Teeth WhiteningTeeth are porous and susceptible to staining. Teeth stain at different rates depending on mouth chemistry, diet and lifestyle (foods and drinks consumed). This means that how easily teeth stain and how easily they whiten varies from person to person. Most teeth whitening methods are essentially the same — a form of hydrogen peroxide gel is placed over the teeth and penetrates into the “pores” of the teeth, cleaning and lightning them. The variable is in the type of application and the corresponding strength of the teeth whitening gel. What works well for one person may not work well for another, this is why we use a sensitive, safe teeth whitening approach. Ask Dr. Samborski which Worcester teeth whitening product and service procedure is best for you.
