They have all kinds of really interesting authentic African foods, especially from the Ghana region. I should note that I have no African blood (Irish-Italian), so this is all very new to me. Dried smoked fish, different kinds of fufu, frozen Scotch Bonnet peppers, Maggi cubes, preserved snails-on-a-stick, cows' feet, African tea, peculiar libations and snacks, strange things wrapped in banana leaves, snacky things, and other things I cannot remember. The help was unfailingly eager to help a confused white guy identify what was what, and sagely cautioned me against some things that were likely not what I thought. I have been to Danco a few times. It's always a learning experience, and always fun. It's also fun trying to explain to my wife and our friends just what it is that I am feeding them...
