I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Byrd! He is extremely caring and has wonderful bedside manner. He honestly listens to the concerns of his patients, without interrupting or imposing preconceived notions on them as I've experienced with some other doctors. I have had *multiple* experiences with difficult medical problems, during which I saw several doctors who all misdiagnosed me or could not diagnose me at all (after I moved 60 miles away and could not always drive to see Dr. Byrd). EVERY time this happened, after finally driving to have Dr. Byrd examine, he was able to correctly diagnose the problem and get me back on track. Every time. He has a very open mind and thinks "outside of the box" when it comes to diagnoses (which accounts for him being able to find out what was wrong with me), and is SO knowledgeable about even the most obscure medical conditions.
