General Info
Dr. Larissa Chismar graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University. Larissa attended and graduated from medical school and completed her dermatology residency at the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She subsequently completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the same school, and practiced in that dermatologic field for two years at one of the largest dermatopathology practices in Atlanta, prior to joining Atlanta North Dermatology. Dr. Chismar is fully board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both dermatology and dermatopathology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of the Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and the Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She is the author of multiple publications and has given presentations at local and national conferences. She specializes in general dermatology with an interest in medical dermatology. Dr. Chismar resides in metro-Atlanta with her husband, a professional musician with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, and their son.

Kudos to Denise Sharp. Those of us of a certain age deal with many medical providers. Most have little regard for patient time and rush through the visit to maximize profits. This practice is well organized and has an amazing and well trained staff that sets the bar for the patient experience. Well done!!!

I don't like going to the doctor but Dr. Chismar makes me feel so comfortable and she explains everything as she is doing her exam which makes me feel so comfortable. The office staff is so friendly! It makes going to the doctor NOT a dreadful experience. I highly recommend her and this office!
