The company maintains more than 30 manufacturing plants and produces over 15 billion metal containers of various types. It features products under the Quick Top and Dot Top brands. Silgan Containers Corporation operates more than eight laboratories to conduct product testings. Its Equipment Services group administers preventive maintenance programs, as well as provides equipment overhauling services. The company manufactures and sells steel and aluminum containers and ends that are used by processors and packagers for a variety of food products, such as meat, soups, vegetables and adult nutritional drinks. It is managed by Silgan Holdings, which operates more than 65 manufacturing facilities in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
