This is a favorite local horse tack store in Woodland Ca (they are by UC Davis and just North of Sacramento). The store has lots of horse riding apparel and new and used saddles in stock. They have a bunch of used western saddles including barrel racing saddles and used English dressage saddles. This is a unique saddle shop as mots have closed and I found a great selection of riding helmets even western riding helmets that look nice and horse bridles with lots of bling and the people that work there were supper friendly and knowledgeable. I agree with the other poster that we all need to support our local saddler store as they are becoming few and far between.

I got so excited the minute I walked into this incredible horse store. I love horse shopping and and I am an admitted tack-o-holic I stumbled upon this wonderful saddle shop located in Norther California after the Horse Expo; that was just north of the Sacramento Airport. This store waas stocked full floor to ceiling with horse equipment; all kinds and brands unique tack brands I have not found on the Internet. From the amazing selection; I was like a kid in a candy store. Plus the employees were very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. They had full lines of English and Western tack. Carried all sizes so I could fit my Pony, mini horse and my partners draft horse. I was so excited to find they had a whole eventing section, hunter and western reining section. It was worth the stop in just to smell , feel and touch the leather, you know things you cannot do when buying stuff online. I also found their prices are at or below that of online stores a plus

This tack store is a local favorite because of the extensive selection of tack, saddles, horse equipment, bits and range of brands. They do not just have one type of horse blanket in a size, they have numerous from all different companies. They also offer European imports. They have horse tack for minis to draft horses and everything in between. It is the best tack store I have been to and their prices are often better than Dover Saddlery and they have a better selection or horse products. They also have hard to find tack items and an extensive veterinary selection and suppliments. They are part of the Historic Nelson Ranch in Woodland historicnelsonranch . com and they purchased Sacramento Saddlery and have incorporated the tack into Tack Warehouse store. They also have a whole room full of discounted horse items along with western home furnishings, paintings, horse photos, horse pictures, bridles etc...
