Reviews
This is the most negative review I have ever left, and I am frankly extremely upset. I left 3 items for fixing, 2 of them needed to be drycleaned at a Kirkland location. I came to pick up my items last week last Tuesday - 2 were ruined, one of them beyond repair with elastic sticking out of fabric, and one was dry-cleaned even though I didn't need it to be dry-cleaned. I was asked to pay for all three items' dry-cleaning and repair. The associate did not even check the items, he had no idea that they were ruined. I told him I was not going to pay for ruined items and asked him to look into it. He was professional and handled it well, said he would look into it and that he thought replacing was a fair option. Then I have not heard from anyone for a week. Checked in on Friday - no response. Finally I got a call from an associate who left a voice message the following Monday. I came to pick up the items and was told my items were too old and that was why they were ruined. So I had to pay for repairs either way, including the ruined items. She got defensive, claimed that her boss would get mad at her for giving out a number of her supervisor, that she was in California and did not see the initial condition of items, and lied she had tried to contact me several times in the past week. I picked up and paid for the two items and left the absolutely ruined item at the location. I wore it 2 times, and first time I washed it the hem came apart. I am not paying for something I need to throw away because of Bakker's. I wrote to the customer service who promise the 100% guarantee 3 days ago, still have not heard a word back. Avoid this place at all costs.
Two and a half weeks ago, I took some clothes to be laundered and pressed. They dry cleaned them by mistake and then tried to charge me for dry cleaning. When I protested (nicely) they relented but were rude to me. A few days later I took some "cotton" clothes to them to be laundered and pressed. They waited a week to let me know that their presses were too hot and might ruin my clothes. My husband takes his cotton shirts to Clampitt's for laundering and pressing. They have yet to ruin any of his shirts. After years of doing business with Clampitt's we have decided to take our business elsewhere.
