Located in Woodburn, Ore., Nellie Muir Elementary School serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers traditional, one-way bilingual and two-way bilingual programs. The elementary school has been honored for its academic achievement by the Oregon Department of Education and was one of few schools in Oregon to receive the Celebrating Student Success award in 2006. Nellie Muir Elementary School teaches various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, language arts, computer science, music, arts and crafts and physical education. The school s library has a collection of books, magazines and audiovisual reference materials. It is a part of the Woodburn School District.
