Joe is a con man. He does not give receipts or contracts. He had me write the check to cash. I hired him in the fall of 2013 to remove weeds from the front and back of the house. He quoted $200 over the phone and then showed up without an appointment and said, "I can't remove all these weeds for $200. I have to charge $300, and if I have to remove the debris, it will be an extra $50". He showed up a week later, the day after free debris removal in my town. When I checked his work after he was done, he mowed down the weeds. I said "I hired you to remove the weeds. I could mow down weeds." Joe said, "They were perennials" So we made an agreement, if the weeds are back in the spring you will come back and remove them. He agreed. The weeds are back but not JFC Landscapers. Left several phone messages this spring. No word from Joe. As a side note, I recieved many quotes this spring from other landscapers. Their fall cleanup is a quarter of the price from JFC Landscapers and there is no charge for debris removal. They should change their name to CM Landscapers for Con Man Landscaper.
