Trista Hughes, DO, MPH, is a family medicine physician practicing full-spectrum family medicine. She completed her residency at Southern Colorado Family Medicine in Colorado where she was named both Intern of the Year and Chief Resident. Before that, she earned her medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. She was selected for a pre-doctoral teaching fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine and spent an additional year teaching pre-clinical osteopathic medical students. She also has a Master of Public Health degree with an emphasis on global health. Dr. Hughes treats patients of all ages and has experience in outpatient and inpatient medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Osteopathy and American Medical Association. Of her care philosophy she says, “I enjoy taking care of people of all ages and developing relationships with patients and their families. My goal as a physician is to work with patients to help them obtain their healthiest version of themselves. I believe that family medicine truly is the best venue for preventative health and facilitating wellness.â€
