She spent almost ten years at Florida Hospital, serving as staff physical therapist, supervisor and ultimately Team Leader at various Florida Hospital outpatient rehabilitation centers. She treated and oversaw the treatment of patients. Melissa also organized and oversaw Florida Hospital's Chronic Pain Program, which treated chronic pain patients through a multi-disciplinary approach including physical therapists, pain doctors, nurses and psychologists.
