- Day Break participants enjoy a variety of educational and social activities that focus on five areas Cognition, Gross Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, Socialization and Health & Wellness. Daily activities include, but are not limited to - current events discussions, arts and craft projects, poetry, cultural events, field trips, gardening, outdoor walks and simple exercises, music therapy, intergenerational activities, dancing, pet therapy and health education, which contribute to an enriching experience.

- In addition to the broad range of educational, social and recreational activities, health related services are available at Day Break should you need them. General Info
Day Break is an adult day health care program located at the Elinor & T. William Miller, Jr. Center in Winter Park, Florida. Day Break is an Adult Day Services program that offers adults, over 18 years of age, with disabilities and/or special needs, older adults and adults with Alzheimer’s or other dementia related disorders. Other types include stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and mental illness. Day Break is licensed by the State of Florida Agency of Health Care Administration. Open Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm to allow family members and caregivers to continue working in the community knowing their loved one is in a safe, stimulating environment during the day.
