Donald W. McIntosh Associates was formed in 1957 in Miami Shores, Fla. and incorporated in 1966. The Firm consists of civil engineering, surveying and planning departments with a staff of ninety professionals, technicians and support personnel. All personnel operate from its corporate office in Winter Park, Fla. Civil engineering services include preparation and processing of clearing and mass grading plans, storm water management systems, primary and secondary utility systems, utility plant design, subdivision plans, final engineering plans for development infrastructure and permit submittals as required by governmental agencies for approval and commencement of construction. Construction observation services include quantity takeoffs, preparation of bid packages, value engineering, assistance with contractor selection, review of shop drawings, review and approval of contractor pay requests, applications for payment, periodic construction observation, final project certification and preparation of record as-built drawings. Additionally, the Survey department's personnel includes computer technicians and draftpersons.
