When my Mom suffered a second mini stroke and was going to require care over and above that of a standard assisted living center i asked some highly regarded nurses at Wedgewood Hospital for advice. Without hesitation they both recommended Wedgewood of Winter Haven. Since it was nearby the hospital i drove over to investigate. What I found was more of a warm and cosy home than a facility. Attractive living room, dining room, beautiful sun porch and spacious rooms. With only 12 to 15 residents being accommodated the care giver to "guest" ratio was phenomenal and the staff treated everyone there as part of their family. My Mom absolutely loves Aurora and Nilo. Over the years she has been cared for in the best possible manner and they have enriched her life.
