Mark Wilcox Center is a 10-day disciplinary program for students in grades 6 through 12. It enrolls more than 18 students. The center s academic curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science, foreign language, history and geography. It conducts drug education classes. Located in Winter Haven, Fla., Mark Wilcox Center is governed by Polk County Public Schools, which also operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The district governs career centers and charter, adult and alternative schools. Polk County Public Schools enrolls over 90,000 students and staffs nearly 13,000 employees.
