Wow Kevin H. You are right! I just moved in here now Two weeks and Jackie is no longer the manager. The new management has stuck notices to everyone's door telling them different things. Like our notice told us we can no longer have our water hose out because it makes the property look bad. I like washing my car! There are different temperatures throughout my townhouse. Upstairs will not cool especially during the day when it's hotter outside. I had to go buy fans for the upstairs bedrooms. My cooling unit has to be set on 70 in order to cool the house but that does not help it. Also, my upstairs bathroom air vent barely blows out any cool air and there is a leak under the sink that the new manager, who is a woman, tried to fix it with her hands. Yea go figure! So I called them up and told them I want to break my lease! If my place is not fixed to where it will not cost me more to cool in the summer and heat in the winter, I want out of here!!!!!! This is serious! No one should have to pay more on their utilities over something like this. This post is not a joke. I'm a real tenant here in Winston Salem NC and I'm mad I did not catch this before I signed my lease..

This USED to be a fantastic place. When Pope Managed these properties and Jackie Taylor was allowed to run the community, the place ran flawless. I had nothing but pleasant experiences. Since then, as of the summer of 2013, the new management company composed of property owners as I understand, is relentless in their stupidity. They refuse to handle any maintenance issues within ay reasonable time frame. Health nand safety issues, including dead animals, electrical and or fire hazards are of no concern to them. They may or may not even respond with a few weeks with reasons as to why they have not fixed anything. Additionally, they have started to allow the entrance of any family or person into the community which of course has proven to be a problem. I have had items stolen from their "secure" fenced in lot for boats and trailers, with no response or help from homeowners association. The units are old, buit in the mid 80's and most have orignal appliances and inner workings that have only been patched and not replaced.

After 4 years, I have begun to aggressively look for somewhere else.

You WILL be sorry if you lease here. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!
