Family nurse practitioner Tangula Simmons believes that health care works best when it is a team effort and believes that team should include more than just medical professionals. She is also passionate about teaching so patients and their families can understand what is happening to their bodies. She likes to include her patients and their families when making decisions and establishing goals of care. She believes this contributes to the best outcomes for her patients. Outside of work, Tangula and her husband enjoy spending time with their three sons and their own growing families.
