On day one the electricians arrived as scheduled and soon had the conduits, fixtures and receptacles in place with plans to complete the job the following morning. On the second day of the job I was notified of what appeared to be a minor problem in the fuse panel. One of the lines entering the panel from outside was missing several inches of insulation. Upon inspection however it was discovered that the line in question was not secured and only resting in place. The fuse was removed and further examination revealed discoloration and brittleness in the metal and plastic in the areas close to the unsecured line.
