HDB Inc. has been in the engineered hinge and metal stamping markets since 1839. The company caters to customers in the automotive, appliance, heavy truck and industrial category. HDB Inc. produces hinges such as spring assist, glove box, console/armrest, electric load centers, etc. The company operates out of a 70,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Winsted, Connecticut. It maintains all manufacturing processes in-house, with the exception of finishing. HDB Inc. does FEA design analysis and has testing capabilities for static strength, fatigue, life cycle, operational efforts and stability. The firm also offers prototyping and packaging design. HDB Inc. is an ISO-9001:2008 third party certified company.
