American Collars and Couplings, Inc was established in 1983 and has been under the present ownership since June, 1987. American Collars and Couplings, Inc was established as a manufacturer of shaft collars and couplings with its manufacturing plant always being here in Connecticut. The only product that is imported is the steel set collars. All of the stainless steel set collars, split collars, threaded collars and couplings are still being manufactured here in Connecticut. We are proud of being able to offer our customers shaft collars that are American made to current industry standards.Set screw shaft collars may be purchased in the following materials and coatings: stainless steel, steel zinc plated, steel black oxide or steel unplated. Special finishes can be quoted per your needs.Split shaft collars may be purchased in the following materials and coatings: stainless steel, steel black oxide, steel unplated, or aluminum. Special coatings are also available upon request.
