Roots where ALL life comes from. Literally and figuratively. With these roots is where the story of bella stella winery begins. In 2008. After a long career with the government. Peter THIEME decided to make ONE more move into the town of Winnsboro. Texas. NOT only DID the members of HIS actual Family tree come with HIM. But Also some 210 Muscadine plants that made their roots in the front of OUR NEW HOME. AS we began to settle into SO DID the grapes. There were times of drought and times of rain. And here in Texas. Rain is a good thing. OUR biggest rainstorm happened when we acquired some more acreage and with it an older home. With a LOT of TLC we renovated the building and made it into the tasting room and bistro it is TODAY. ​SO AS OUR roots GET deeper and OUR vines longer we welcome YOU to join US on OUR wonderful journey. SIT enjoy a glass of wine and some tasty grub with good Company. OH. And Don’t forget to look UP AT the night SKY here where we are sure YOU will find the true meaning of bella stella.
