Was a great help with emergency repair to boat seat replaced all the wood in the seats then was able to match the seat cushion & its a 1987 boat so not easy to do. Thanks Harry for getting us back in the water. Highly recommended. George

I have been in the upholstery trade 37 years, most of the years owning my own business. After selling my main business 5 years ago, I recently started Harrys Tops & Upholstery located at 6170 NW Polk City Dr. Polk City IA 50226. I am semi-retired and currently a one man operation. I am very selective with the projects I take in which are primarily marine-related or classic cars. The work I choose not to do is referred to other businesses. These Guys are jerks, they will act like they are doing you a favor, and tell you that they don't know what a simple seat repair or convertible top will cost. I f they are so good, you would think that they would know, or at least have a general idea. I took my vehicle there for some seat fabric replacement, and was quoted an outrageous price (wasn't impressed wih the cleanliness or professional appearance either), which I declined. I was able to find another shop just to the East of Des Moines that did the job for 1/2 the price, and did a wonderful job. The seats looked like new, and een more important, the shop and the owner was very pleasant to deal with. It pays to shop around, and to deal with pleasant and friendly people , as I found out.
