- Dental Examination
- X-rays
- Oral Cancer ScreeningOnce the paperwork is complete, you will have your exam, which usually lasts around an hour, and will include an oral cancer screening, dental charting, periodontal probing and oral hygiene instruction. We will also take any necessary x-rays. In many cases, we will clean your teeth during this visit. At the conclusion, an evaluation will be provided that will outline your current dental condition and our proposed treatment plan.

- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride Treatment - Fluoride treatment is a proven way to prevent tooth decay by making teeth more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It also reverses early decay, and is especially helpful in preventing cavities in children.
- Dental SealantsSealant Placement - When premolars and molars are not smooth, the depressed areas that are formed can be breeding grounds for dental decay. The most effective way to prevent this is to apply sealants, thin plastic coatings, to the chewing surfaces of back teeth so foods cannot get caught in them.
- Fillings
- VeneersPorcelain Veneers - Veneers are a thin shell made out of porcelain or composite material. They are custom made and cemented to the front side of the tooth. A veneer can be used to treat dental conditions such as a slightly crooked tooth, discolored teeth, chipped teeth, or they can be used to cover spaces in between the teeth.
- CrownsPost and Core Placement - Post and Core Placement is required to sufficiently build-up tooth structure for future restoration with a crown when there is not enough tooth structure to properly retain the cap, due to loss of tooth structure to either decay or fracture.
- BridgesCrowns and Bridges - Dental crowns and bridges are prosthetic devices that replace missing teeth or part of a tooth. They are made of metal, porcelain and resin, or a combination of these materials. Crowns are intended to repair damage to individual teeth. They replace tooth structure lost by decay or injury, protect the part of the tooth that remains, and restore the tooth's shape and function. Bridges fill in a space in the jaw left by a missing tooth or teeth. They protect the shape of the mouth and restore function of the teeth and jaw.
- Dental Bonding
- Restorative DentistryRestorative Care - Restorative dentistry involves the diagnosis of all issues relating to the health and function of the smile, specifically those pertaining to broken or damaged teeth. These include treatment and repair of broken or damaged teeth.
- PulpotomyPulpotomy with Stainless Steel Crown Placement - Pulpotomy is the complete removal of the coronal portion of the dental pulp before it becomes infected. If necessary, a Stainless Steel Crown Placement can be used to protect the tooth from becoming infected.
- Root Canal TreatmentEndodontic Therapy - Endodontic Therapy (root canal) is a dental procedure to fix a tooth by removing the nerve inside the tooth and filling it with a suitable material. Endodontic Therapy is usually performed when the tooth cannot be filled or restored any other way because the decay has reached the nerve of the tooth or the tooth has become infected. Most patients dread the idea of having this procedure, but to lessen these fears, we perform the therapy using rotary endodontics, an innovative system that is fast and easy. Nitrous Oxide is also available for patients requiring additional sedation.
- Gingivectomy and GingivoplastyGingivectomy (with Diode Laser) - A gingivectomy is the surgical removal of infected and diseased gum tissue, which is performed to arrest the progress of periodontal disease. We perform gingivectomies using a very safe and effective diode laser.
- Deep CleaningScaling and Root Planing - Scaling and root planing, a form of deep cleaning, is performed to remove or eliminate plaque and calculus, which cause gums to become inflamed. This deep cleaning helps to keep the specialized tissues that both surround and support the teeth free of periodontal disease.
- DenturesDuring a regular checkup your dentist will be able to detect any problems such as gum disease, dry mouth or other disorders that may be the cause of your bad breath. Please remember that maintaining good oral hygiene, eliminating gum disease and scheduling regular professional cleanings are essential to reducing bad breath. Good oral hygiene also means brushing twice a day and flossing once a day. Brushing your tongue is important, too. For denture wearers, be sure to remove them at night and clean them thoroughly before replacing them when you awake in the morning.
