Dana and Shari have brought back the community shoe store of the past with Solely Comfort. The store's atmosphere is very homey and warm with teas and coffee brewing at the door and wonderful hardwood floors. They measure both feet and assess the type of walking you do, what surfaces you walk on, if you have injuries or illnesses which affect how your feet react during the day. After many years of wondering why shoes with up to 2 sizes different fit at different times, they showed me that my feet have different lengths and widths with the right being shorter and wider with a higher in-step than the left. With that information, they were able to help me find shoes which fit and adjust for the differences so both feet were completely comfortable. They also explained the importance of having shoes without heels to keep my ankles from twisting against my knee injuries and of wearing shoes around the house. Thanks to Dana and Shari, my feet feel energized after wearing the aetrex loafers and warm and toastie from the sheepskin Lamo slippers! It was definitely worth the drive from Ashburn!
