I moved to the area from Alaska and was really hopping to find as good a VET as Phoebe had there. I tried one near my home in West Virginia, but wasn't happy with the care. Then the doctors at Plaza were recommend , and I could not be happier. The entire staff is caring and understanding. They have helped me find specialists and diagnosed some complex problems. I drive nearly two hours to bring my dogs here and would go farther if need be for this quality care. The doctors are gentle, up to date on veterinary medicine, and give options. I only wish I could find a "people vet" as good as the ones at Plaza Pet Clinic.

You wont find a more caring place to take your pets!

Even if I moved 2 hours away, I would still travel back to Plaza for veterinarian care. Dr. Wartluft & Dr. Papier are amazing doctors. In the past 4 years I've had to put down 2 dogs, one during Dr. Wartluft's shift and one during Dr. Papier's - BOTH times these women cried with me. Second to the caring doctors, Plaza is incredible because they never make me feel like less of a pet "parent" if I choose not to do vaccines or tests that aren't required (ie Heartworm, Lyme). The vets have never hit me with pushy sales pitches like I've been hit with at other vets, they state the facts and ALL of the options for addressing a problem - even the cheap ones. They've even gone the extra mile to save me money by figuring what a human dose equivilant would be so I could get my dog's Rx at Costco. I would never take my pets to any other vet, I'd follow Dr. Wartluft & Papier to another state if I had to. They care about the pets, not just the almighty dollar - can not recommend them enough!

Dr. Wartluft is a wonderful vet. She is kind and caring and provided wonderful care to our dog during a crisis. She worked with us and came to our home because it would have been impossible to bring Heidi into the clinic in the condition she was in and because she was such a big dog. Highly recommend this practice.
