Service is amazing .... atmoshphere is top notch! Owners are kind and more then wiling to help in anyway they can! I rate this restuarant 5 stars! Quality of food is well worth the cost considering the presentation, preperation, and the absorbant gas prices( which must have affected prices due to shipping). I have never encountered such a knowledgable staff in a restuarant this far off the beaten path of corporate cookie cutter restuarants. It was an absolute delight, and will most definately be a common haunt of my family.
Not worth the exorbitant prices they overcharge for their lousy food. I had the Mozzarella Caprese salad and my wife had the Canns shrimp for appetizers. We should have just quit there. They weren't too bad, although the balsamic vinaigrette on the caprese salad had the consistency of jelly.Next we had the house salad with their own Champagne vinaigrette which was extremely underwhelming. Then for the main courses, my wife had the grilled Mahi Mahi with risotto and seasoned vegetables and I had the roasted prime rib with the same sides. They were very reluctant to change our sides from the garlic mashed potatoes to anything else, but finally let us switch. The Mahi Mahi was ok. Drenched in some kind of sauce, it took away the flavor of the fish. My prime rib (ordered medium rare) was actually about medium well to well done. There was no pink left and it was very dry. The risotto was ok, right up until my wife found a large piece of what appeared to be from a rubber spatula.
Great food, great ambiance, courteous servers. It's a keeper for Winchester
Wide menu selection, excellent dishes, classy atmosphere
