Blue Ridge Hospice is a nonprofit health care organization founded in 1981 providing physical, emotional, social and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families. The organization serves the city of Winchester and Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, Page and Western Loudoun counties in Virginia. Blue Ridge provides social, spiritual and physical support to patients and their families. Blue Ridge Hospice has a staff of more than 120 employees and over 340 volunteers experienced in nursing, administration, counseling and social work. The organization is licensed and a certified Medicare provider.Blue Ridge Hospice provides various services, including home nursing, physician, medical social services, counseling, home health aide and volunteer services.
