      Several things make Bluegrass Recycling Service, Inc. the superior dead animal removal company in Central Kentucky. First, we PROMPTLY remove the animals from your farm and transport them to our State inspected and approved transfer station. The material that we collect is then transferred and rendered / recycled at a State, USDA and FDA inspected rendering plant, not taken to landfills or composted like other services. By recycling this material, the release of the carbon is stopped, unlike that from landfilling or composing these materials, which release all of this carbon into our environment. By quickly removing and recycling, we are helping to protect our waterways and water supplies from contamination and we are helping to prevent the spread of diseases. It is our mission to keep our environment, our state and our farms cleaner and safer for us all to live. Here is how our service works; when you call into our call center, we will take your name, address, phone number, county, type of animal and age of cattle, and directions to the location of the animal. We drive large dead animal removal trucks, not small pickup trucks and therefore, all animals MUST be located by the driveway on a hard surface (i.e., gravel, concrete or pavement). We can not go into any field, pasture, barn or into any area with live animals, gated or un-gated. All animals need to be pulled out to a proper location for pick up prior to our arrival. If you are located in a co-pay or self-pay county, you can leave your payment in a can or jar by the animal. Please make checks payable to Bluegrass Recycling Service, Inc. Unless otherwise requested, your canceled check will be your receipt. At Bluegrass Recycling Service, Inc., we strive to provide you with superior dead animal removal service. In most counties, under normal circumstances, if you call in by 10am, we will get your animal picked up the same day. Since we are having the material recycled, it is just at important to us, as it is to you, to get the animals picked up quickly. So when you call, you can count on us to get your animal removed as soon as possible. We ask that you please, give us a try. We are confident that you will not be disappointed.
