Founded in 1955, Pulaski Developmental Services provides a range of employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. It offers employment in light-duty industries, including assembly and packaging services. The center maintains a location in Winamac, Ind. Pulaski Developmental Services is a part of Peak Community Services, which has been operating for more than 50 years and offers employment and vocational, educational, residential and supported living programs to adults. Peak Community Services provides courses related to healthy living, cooking, pedestrian safety, community volunteering and computer skills. It also organizes various recreational activities, including bowling, basketball, baseball and swimming. Peak Community Services additionally monitors national progress, as well as develops and promotes effective programs.
