Advocate with faith LLC is the only special education advocacy practice in wilton. CT. WHY USE an advocate for your child’s education? -we are 100% focused on obtaining the services and accommodations your child needs – and has a legal right to – from the SCHOOL -WE provide clear direction and plan of action to GET the services REQUIRED -WE will teach YOU the skills YOU need to feel confident and empowered with the knowledge YOU need to eventually have what it takes to BE your OWN successful advocate for your CHILD -WE know the current (EVER-CHANGING) laws and regulations that the school districts must have in place. AS well AS your child’s rights within the school SYSTEM WHAT makes OUR advocacy practice UNIQUE? OUR decades of experience tells US that it takes more than just a knowledge of special education LAW to BE a good advocate. It takes a skilled negotiator. An understanding of HOW to maintain or repair relationships with the district side of the team. And a full understanding and appreciation of the unique circumstances of each Child’s situation. There is NO cookie cutter IEP. Just AS there is NO cookie cutter child. We are also trained to teach parents and CAREGIVERS HOW to USE their emotions in a positive manner in a PPT meeting. HOW to read and understand body language. And we will give YOU the skills to become more assertive. Feel less intimidated. And truly secure in the PPT PROCESS.
