I leased a phase 2 purely for having a gas fire place over woodburning, the one provided had none.

This was a dealbreaker. I was misled about what I would be recieving. They informed me that the fireplace is not in all units and is a lottory if you will be getting one. After many calls the manager to tell me that I won't be getting my deposit back because I didn't specify its importance in the agreement. There was no place asking for this info, I am just supposed to "know" to write my requirements in the magins to be refunded if they are unable to provide what they advertised?

No one communicated the "lottery" on fireplaces when I viewed only units with them. Management is telling me it is a she said/she said situation and is giving preference to her staff saying they had informed me of this. Her excuse for her lack of responsiveness is that her staff aren't the most reliable communicators, these are the people who you will trust & tell me my deposit is tough luck?
