The Skill Creations of Wilson, a 10-plus-bed facility, is one of the locations of Skill Creations, which serves more than 600 individuals and employs over 500 people throughout the United States. Incorporated in 1984, the parent organization s community operations division provides several residential and nonresidential services for persons in their home communities. In addition, it manages the Wayne Child Development Center, which offers a range of preschool and child care programs for children between the ages of 2 and 5. Skill Creations is a private, nonprofit organization that is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Services of Families and Children. The parent organization provides case management and alternative family living services.
