We also believe that providing service in the community necessitates participation in community activities and support of community entities and functions. For this reason we support our communities' churches, schools, libraries, arts, fire department, rescue squad, health care facilities, youth activities, historic buildings and events, fraternal organizations, charitable foundations and many more activities with a portion of the operating income we receive from providing service. Our History: Founded in 1884 by J.E. Walbridge, the Walbridge Company was located at 525 Main Street. Mr. Walbridge maintained his livery, coaches with horses, at the old Walbridge Estate in Walbridgeville, now commonly known as Paper Mill Village. In the 1920?s, Roy Paddock joined J.E. Walbridge and married his daughter Edith.
