This place is horrible! I had to take my elderly Cat directly to another vet to fix her up and get her out of pain!!! They put money before an animals pain!!!! To help me keep cost low, without explanation of their plan, they decided to stitch a deep laceration on my cats leg without proper cleaning, no sedation or pain killers, then STAPLED her!!!! I heard her screaming! This botched excuse of a job my 4 yr old could have done was ridiculous. It wasnt an emergency to hold her over, but it became an emergency! I went back after I had 3 vets confirm it was incorrect and paid 250$ to fix their mistake. I simply wanted a refund to go towards the new bill and showed them pictures and asked if maybe there was a reason this happened ( Im too nice) at that point they told me I was not welcome on the property and said I was crazy. 30 days later I get a bill!! So I called and they said take it up with the creditors STILL refusing to let me speak to the owner or know who he is!!!! I could on forever

Dr. Wilson and his staff are incredibly caring, I am thankful for all they have done for my dog. Since I moved to Wilmington he has taken care of my pets and has superseeded my expectations. Gone beyond his call of duty. Thanks Dr Wilson

Overall I am extremely pleased with A Country Vet. I took our dogs there the first today for heartworm tests and check-ups. The front desk staff were kind, vet assistants helpful, and Dr. Wilson did a great job with both of them. He was informative, knowledgeable, and made sure every question I could have was answered. When checking out, I was thrilled the charges for two check-ups with nail trims, two distemper shots, two Trifexis pills, two heartworm tests, and one one-year rabies shot were well within reason, falling on the side of cheap, for such great service! After I got home and really looked at the bill, I realized the two nail trims were not charged for along with $20 off the second dog exam. I was not expecting that at all and will be thanking them on their next visit. I highly recommend ACV to anyone looking for a new vet! We will be taking ours there for anything we need from now on.

Dr. Wilson is a great caring vet. You could not ask for a better veterinary service and unbeatable prices. I will not trust anyone but him for my pets care.
